How we look after family information
We collect only what is needed, encrypt stored data and data in transit through our platform services, keep sharing under parent control, and never sell your data.

TLS 1.2+ in Transit
All data transmission between your device and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher encryption, preventing interception during transfer.
Australian Data Storage
Primary Firestore data and production app file storage are configured in Sydney. Some backend, authentication, analytics, and AI processing may occur in provider-managed, US, or global regions.
Operational Access Controls
Access controls are used to limit who can access production systems and supporting cloud infrastructure.
Support Circle Access
Support Circle sharing is controlled by the parent and scoped by data type. Sensitive note content stays inside the authenticated app; email notifications ask recipients to sign in instead of including child details.
Controlled Photo-to-Character
After a specific notice and confirmations, one optional photo can create a character. Gestalts does not save the source to your account; Google Vertex AI processes it globally under current provider terms. Other user-image and refinement inputs remain disabled.
AI Identifier Minimisation
Supported generative-AI text routes replace known identifiers with request-specific labels and run an additional sensitive-data check before the model call. This reduces direct identifiers, but free-text details may still identify someone.
Gestalts-Managed AI Access
AI requests use Gestalts-managed service credentials rather than your personal consumer-AI account. This limits provider-side account linkage to you, but it does not make a request anonymous or untraceable within Gestalts.

About the practitioner directory
Disclaimer
The Gestalts practitioner directory lists health practitioners who have registered on the platform and indicated relevant experience working with gestalt language processors (GLPs).
Credentials Are Self-Reported by Practitioners
Practitioners enter their own credentials, qualifications, and experience, and attest to their accuracy when they apply.
- Each practitioner is responsible for the information shown on their listing, including qualifications, certifications, memberships, and experience claims
- Gestalts does not independently verify a practitioner's credentials unless a listing explicitly states that a specific verification has been performed
- If information on a listing is inaccurate, the responsibility rests with the practitioner who provided it; please report inaccuracies to us at info@gestalts.com.au
No Endorsement
Listing in the Gestalts practitioner directory does not constitute:
- Endorsement or recommendation by TLG Digital Solutions Pty Ltd
- Verification of clinical quality, competence, or effectiveness
- Guarantee of outcomes for your child
- A professional referral
Your Responsibility - Please Do Your Own Research
When choosing a practitioner from the directory:
- Verify credentials independently — For speech pathologists, check Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia (www.speechpathologyaustralia.org.au). For AHPRA-registered professions (such as occupational therapists and psychologists), check the practitioner's registration on the AHPRA public register (www.ahpra.gov.au)
- Assess suitability — Determine whether the practitioner's experience, location, and approach are appropriate for your child's needs
- Ask questions — Discuss their experience with gestalt language processing directly
- Seek referrals — Consider obtaining a referral from your child's paediatrician or GP

How Credentials Are Regulated in Australia
Different professions in the directory are regulated differently:
- Speech pathologists are a self-regulated profession in Australia. They are not registered with AHPRA; the relevant credential is Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status or practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Occupational therapists, psychologists, and other AHPRA-registered professions must hold current AHPRA registration
- Credential status can change between the time of listing and your contact - always confirm current status directly before engaging a practitioner
Limitation of Liability
TLG Digital Solutions Pty Ltd:
- Does not supervise, control, or direct listed practitioners
- Is not responsible for the quality of services provided by listed practitioners
- Is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your engagement with a listed practitioner
- Does not mediate disputes between families and practitioners
Any professional relationship formed through the directory is between you and the practitioner directly.
