What We Believe

The principles that guide every feature we build, every word we write, and every decision we make.

Our Principles

Six commitments that shape everything we do

Trust First

Every decision we make should build trust with parents and professionals. If a tactic could erode trust, we don't do it - even if it would drive short-term growth.

Accuracy Over Claims

We would rather say less and be right than say more and mislead. When uncertain, we acknowledge uncertainty.

Parent Empowerment

We believe parents are capable. Our role is to equip you with knowledge and tools, not to create dependency.

Professional Respect

We complement speech therapy, never compete with or replace it. We make therapists' jobs easier, not harder.

Accessibility

Knowledge about gestalt language processing shouldn't be gatekept. We make research accessible without dumbing it down.

Emotional Safety

Parents of gestalt language processors are often stressed and vulnerable. Every interaction should feel safe, validating, and hopeful.

Our Framework

When faced with a choice, we ask five questions

Does this build trust? With parents, with therapists, with the community
Is this accurate?Verified, hedged appropriately, not overclaiming
Does this empower?Gives parents agency, doesn't create anxiety
Is this respectful?Of professionals, of families, of different experiences
Is this accessible?Clear, affordable, not gatekept

If any answer is "no", we reconsider the approach.
